Solar Flame Music, LLC is the publishing company for STARFIRE, a recording project headed up by recording artist and music producer Dairenn Lombard. Solar Flame Music is looking for a freelance promotions, advertising and marketing expert specializing in Social Media to takeover, manage and grow the Facebook, Instagram, YouTube/Google+, Tumblr and particularly Twitter profile pages. These profiles exist for the purpose of driving sales of STARFIRE CDs and tickets to STARFIRE shows in Los Angeles, so it is important that most people following STARFIRE on social networks are in and around Los Angeles. We have three goals...
Number 1: We want to increase the number of fans and followers in southern California, and, increase the number of posts that are shared by the people following our pages. Number 2: The ideal candidate for this position will see themselves as our partner that can give advice on what they would like to do to increase posts shared and followers of ours as well as coordinate and execute on promotional campaign initiatives, for example, when a new release is about to debut, or to draw a large crowd to come see a live performance. Number 3: cut down on the amount of time we have to spend doing social media as amateurs, and instead, turn it over to a professional that can get results so we can spend more of our time writing, recording and performing.
Payment and Milestones: We're willing to pay whatever your hourly rate is, with the number of hours depending on your rate. We will pay for ten hours of work per month, for example, if your hourly rate is $25/hr. Milestones are, of course, built around your plans for increasing the number of followers and shares on the social networks where STARFIRE has a presence and, ultimately, how effective they are at attracting rock music fans that would be interested in purchasing STARFIRE CDs and concert tickets.
Delivery Time: Haste makes waste, so we want to take our time to get this right. We should spend time, initially over the phone but mostly over e-mail, understanding these goals, understanding what it will take to achieve those goals, crafting the strategy around what is realistic and financially practical before attempting to execute. Of course, we would like to start as soon as possible, but the idea is to make this an on-going relationship with a Social Network Media Manager that lasts for years. The only projects we might be working on with real deadlines would be to promote a live show where, by showtime, a certain number of people need to have purchased tickets because of what they saw on Twitter or elsewhere.
Expected communication: E-Mail with the occasional phone conversation is the expectation with the added expectation that if something comes up where you will be unable to get back to us within 24-48 hours, you'll let us know to expect a delay and for approximately how long.
Terms of Service: Subject to negotiation. Tell us how you work, what your limitations are, what you won't do, and we can go from there. On our side, we need examples of ideas and campaigns you've completed where the results met the expectations you had set and references of others you've worked with where we can evaluate the success of previous efforts.
