Social Media Content Specialist (Freelance)

Seeking a detail-oriented Social Media Content Specialist to help repurpose and enhance content for sustainable small businesses. Very simple Workflow.

This role focuses on transforming existing Instagram content into engaging, branded posts while maintaining authenticity and promoting sustainable business practices.

Ongoing role. Project for test period. Please advise how many posts you can create for £50.



Key Responsibilities
Save existing existing social media image and place into a pre-existing template using Canva. Very basic editing tools (on ocasión adding a filter, and slightly tilting the Polaroid frame so it’s at an angle.

Perform quick due diligence on featured businesses to verify sustainability claims

Write short engaging captions using provided AI tools
Save images in canva using consistent file naming conventions and organization
Work within established brand guidelines and templates.

Workflow;

Access content
Access shared Instagram folder containing saved Instagram posts
Review assigned posts for processing


Business Verification (5 minutes)
Review company's online presence
Verify small business status
Check sustainability claims and manifesto
Flag any concerns about greenwashing


Image Processing
Save/download original post image
Upload to Canva
Apply Polaroid frame template
Add company/product text to bottom section
Adjust text color for optimal visibility
Save final image using naming convention:
[InstagramHandle]_[CompanyName]_[ProductName/Description]_[MM/YYYY]


Caption Development (10 minutes)

Document original post hashtags
Use provided AI prompt to generate caption
Review and refine AI-generated content
Format caption with appropriate spacing and hashtags


Quality Check
Verify image quality and text legibility
Confirm correct file naming
Review caption for accuracy and brand alignment

Upload image and caption to social media preparation tool
