Description
Experience Level: Expert
IN BRIEF
Looking for someone with extensive experience designing interactive cross platforms apps with the intention of connecting people to a project and facilitating dialogue around it.
ABOUT THE PROJECT
We are London-based Community Interest Company who have been commissioned to run a competition with public sector funding to find a 'user' for a piece of land designated for regeneration. A concurrent project is being run to find a 'designer' for a building which will be built on the land.
As part of this commission we are seeking to attract high quality 'users' to propose a project to occupy the land + building. We are seeking nationwide proposals. As part of our communication strategy we will be using traditional media and social media. We see the app running alongside these traditional approaches and providing a truly interactive side to our communications strategy, allowing users to generate content independently.
THE APPS FUNCTION
Encourage joined up dialogue between 'users' and 'designers'.
The design process follows a 4-weekly cycle with refinements being published at the end of each cycle. This content will be published on the app generating dialogue.
We need to be able to capture the interactions occurring via this app for our project management purposes.
IN YOUR BID
Who you are, what you do with examples.
Tell us what we will gain from developing an app that we would not be able to achieve through social media platforms Twitter and Facebook.
Please comment on and develop further the ideas we have laid down. We are not experts and are looking to produce a viable app so invite guidance and constraints from you.
TIMESCALE
Proposals back to us by Friday 21st September 2012. If found to be viable, the app will need to be developed and up and running by early November so you must have availability to deliver.
