Description
Experience Level: Expert
We are working on a LinkedIn how-to guide and need a few sections written out with ORIGINAL content. Focus is on creating a killer professional profile. Target market is corporate clients who want their employees to have polished profiles. Target is not the individual looking for a new job. Our focus is 1: Present a professional image when people look you up 2: Get found when people search for what you do.
Writer must be conversational, have fantastic style and most importantly, be a LinkedIn expert. We expect you to find solid statistics to back up each section and cite with specific URLs.
We expect two rounds of revisions. This way we can provide feedback. The general format is: (Open with an interesting fact as to why a particular profile element is important, provide detail or common mistakes, give specific steps on best practice)
We have 20 fields covering the most critical elements of a Linkedin Profile to be written. If the work is good, we have another $200 project providing variations of the text. Here's an example of a section outlining what to do about uploading a photo:
"Did you know the profile picture is one of the most heavily viewed elements of a LinkedIn profile? Those sorting through profiles spend up to 20% of their time looking at the profile photo. (TheLadders.com)
Through usability testing, LinkedIn found the profile picture so important that in a recent product upgrade, they enlarged the profile photo and gave it a more prominent spot in the overall profile layout. Still, 18% of profiles are lacking a photo. Talk about missed opportunity. (Linkedin.com)
So, find a profile photo that matches the tone and fit of your profession. Or, have one made. A close headshot from the top of the head to just below the shoulders is best. Avoid overly cutsey, inappropriate photos or those featuring more than one person. These are all examples of photos that violate LinkedIn terms and conditions."
