We are looking for someone buys into who we are, where we need to go as a business and how social media can assist us on that journey. We are a small ISP, completely changing the direction of the company, and working with full fibre network provider partners providing B2C internet services a number of disparate and small geographic areas.
Currently, we have 5 main partnerships ready to be implemented. The geographical locations that we need to service cover areas of southern UK and are identified by location and postcode and are remote from our Cambridgeshire base. Social Media (by that, we think in the main this will be facebook) will play a key role in creating awareness of the network availability (say - part of a town or large village) so we will need to identify what FB groups are active in locations, make contact and work with the groups to place details of our service and keep an ongoing presence with news of local success stories, offers, network implementation rollout etc. Our partners will have differing approaches to the use of social media with some wanting to work closely with us others requiring us to work in isolation from them - these approaches will need to be understood and our own plans adapted to reflect these differing approaches.
As the company moves from a startup in these new markets, the amount of work will increase and money will become less tight. We are looking for a long term working relationship with the right resource, rather than a 'per job' basis. Enthusiasm and energy will be critical to the success of this role. Experience in B2C technology would be helpful but isn't a prerequisite.
In terms of your initial response, we'll be looking for a high-level proposal from you on what you see as the key factors we will need to consider and how you see yourself addressing these factors. This is your sales document to me, and I'd particularly like you to consider how you would address the small disparate geographic areas and identifying how you can address this particular requirement.
