Description
Experience Level: Expert
We're looking for a freelancer or social media company to take care of social media posting. The regular work involves turning our weekly (or sometimes twice weekly) blog posts into engaging social media content to post over a 3-month period on our 5 or 6 platforms using hashtags etc and scheduling them through Hootsuite. I have just launched a podcast for which shownotes are produced and available to be promoted. You would be able to draw from the show notes to promote the podcasts which are evergreen content and therefore not time limited. Again these would be scheduled through Hootsuite. That's the bare minimum, regular work. There will also be further ad hoc projects, and for the right person we may move on and extend the work to asking you to fully manage one or two of the platforms as a community manager to create engagement and additional interest. The right person will have a background in both marketing and writing, as it’s essential to know how to promote content so as to get clicks and drive traffic to it. Although the remuneration would be negotiable and could be higher for the right person, I'm basically thinking that the routine week to week work would require a budget of £100 per month. It would be higher, for example if we have ad hoc additional needs. If you're interested please provide a proposal and let me know when you would be available to start.
Our needs are growing for social media support and we will have a much bigger need in 2018 from the social media helper we take on. So, only apply if you’re going to be available to do more work, and if you’re capable of creating compelling copy for people to sign up, or do a survey or access our ebooks etc when we have an ad hoc need for such copy.
So, the basic week to week needs are to create copy for the below social media platforms – noted at 1 and 2 - drawing from one or two blogs a week which are published on the links given in 3 and 4. These are then scheduled according to an agreed timetable (which you could suggest) over a 3 month period:
1. Azrights social platforms: https://twitter.com/Azrights; https://www.linkedin.com/company/azrights/ https://www.facebook.com/Azrights https://plus.google.com/+Azrights
2. My personal profile on Twitter which will also be accessed on Hootsuite https://twitter.com/shireensmith
3. My Azrights blog from which content is created and timetabled on our social media platforms over 3 month or so. http://www.azrights.com/media/
4. My personal site – currently less frequently updated for blogs. http://www.shireensmith.com/?page_id=82
5. Note a new site we’ve just launched to run training courses. https://www.iprules.com/ - We will gradually promote this more in its own right, but currently it’s another way of promoting content on Azrights and my personal site. It features a blog I’ve yet to promote https://www.iprules.com/blog
6. Recently launched a podcast https://www.iprules.com/p/podcast. You can see the shownotes on the page. These will need to be drawn from and promoted.
I have an admin assistant who posts the blogs that need promoting on a project management platform and as mentioned, there is a Hootsuite page where the posts can be scheduled. Once I have enough confidence in your updates, the intention is to use your services more as a community manager to create engagement on our Facebook page and any new pages I may set up for IPRules.com. However, the initial work doesn't require more than proposing updates from our content to schedule through Hootsuite.
