Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
I operate a UK (motorhome hire) website - www.motorhome-city.co.uk.
It was heavily effected by Google Panda and Penguin and suffered serious losses on SERPS.
After it first impacted, my SEO company followed Google guidelines to delete/disassociate the 'bad' links, with minimal results.
I have now ceased trading for a year (2015) in order to try and restore previous positions and to get rid of the bad links (detoxify the link profile).
Motorhome City has 26,000 links inbuilt. I've been informed that between 30 - 40% of the links are 'bad' links (linked to link farms and other low value websites).
I request proposals from SEO Companies regarding:
1. To detoxify the bad links
2. Restore the website to previous high positions in search engine rankings (mainly Google)
3. To provide a sound structure for any actions proposed
4. Detailed costs involved
5. Timescales for the required actions.
6. Contactable testimonials from companies who were similarly effected.
I will consider all proposals in order to restore this once well regarded website, but will quickly delete all pro-forma proposals.
I am fully aware that it is now 3 years since the first major algorithm change made by Google that had a severe impact on small businesses like mine.
There must now be legitimate means of combatting the effects of the Panda and Penguin updates.
I will only consider 'White Hat' methods of proceeding forward. Black Hat techniques will be totally rejected.
Testimonials will be important and contacted, who were in a similar situation.
Thanks.
