I am looking for a programmer to increase the ranking of a website. I am simply looking for a person who is accomplished in SEO to perform the task for a reasonable price.
The bid is for THE SITE AND 4 OTHERS (5 total) that have an identical template but with different city and industry. We will pay one at a time when each site is completed.
Review: SEO / Ranking evaluation
Keyword Phrase: Fresno Cosmetic Surgeon
Goal: #1 on Google
Below is what I Need. Starting with "Important Issues" was intended to be an
attachment. But I've already posted below to just about every bidder since
it has not been updated in the last 5 days.

Review: SEO / Ranking evaluation
Keyword Phrase: Fresno Cosmetic Surgeon
Current Rank on Google: #19
Goal: #1 on Google
Important Issues:
1. No title tag in the first meta tag position
This is critically important to your ranking. Your first meta tag should
always be your title tag and it should clearly define where you want to go
in the rankings. In your case, you should lead with your main keyword
phrase, "Fresno Cosmetic Surgeon". You could add the word "directory" to it,
like you have now. I'd start with this simple edit and track your position
change. Keep in mind that you may "crawl" to the top rather than leap up in
one move. However, this one adjustment that should help you significantly.
(For more detailed information on Meta Tags, see step 4 of my guide)
2. Keyword phrase doesn't appear in bold within the copy on your page.
I would suggest an H1 or H2 header as an on-page title for the listings.
Google pays a LOT of attention to these headers and to the bold copy on the
page. Use bold page headers and paragraph or "section" headers, as it may be
in your case. Google figures that if it's important to you (making your text
bold) than it must be important to the theme of the page -- and gives it
weight.
3. Not enough descriptive copy on the page.
In most cases, you need about 300 words of descriptive copy that clearly
defines how you want to be ranked. You do this my making sure the keyword
phrase you're targeting appears in the first few words of page copy as well
as the last 25 words on the page. In your case, you MAY be able to
accomplish the ranking you want simply because you have a listing of
surgeons. However, I would suggest something else for you that might take
care of this problem...
4. Add your main keyword phrase in and among the listings whenever it seems
appropriate and doesn't take away from the ease of reading through your
listing.
For instance, you could create sub categories for your listings. Each
category heading could could be a bold, larger font. You might use headings
like, "Fresno Cosmetic Surgeon", for the listing of people who actually do
surgery and not just hair removal. You also might be able to tag that
keyword phrase to the actual listing. In the end, a listing might look like
this for more juice;
Aesthetic Plastic Surgery
1351 E Spruce Ave, # 120
Fresno CA 93720
(559) 432-6212
Category: Fresno Cosmetic Surgeon
5. Main keyword does not appear in the last 25 words of the page.
Down in the footer, tell the search engine again who you are. Add a few
final words to the page that help Google know what your page is all about.
(see step 2 in my guide for more info.)
6. Keyword phrase only appears in one of your ALT tags.
You want it to appear (at least a close variation of it) in at least 3 of
your ALT tags. I'd name the first three. Don't spam the search engine. Give
the phrase slight variations, but get them in there. name those images
something useful for your ranking
.
7. Need more (and relevant) incoming links to this site.
I checked 3 different sources and couldn't find any links coming to this
site. That's not to say that there aren't any, but there aren't any
recognized by my three sources. My suggestion is that you make the fairly
simple changes I have given you above and then concentrate on developing a
few incoming links.
