Description
Experience Level: Entry
I need someone to work on the SEO and social media marketing on my website. I understand that this is an ongoing task so would look to pay someone monthly to spend some time with me either via Skype or in person (preferably) to work on what needs doing together.
And when I say social media, I don't mean facebook and twitter. Of course there is more to it than that! I am looking for somebody who is active themselves in the social media world and doing a good job of it.
I am able to implement a lot of it myself so it would be much a case of advising me and telling me what to do as I go by, and being more of an advisory service that I can email and Skype saying \"what next\" all the time and become an absolute pest.
Until, of course, the benefits of having an online presence come, in which case hundreds of people will be signing up to my service per day and you too will be rewarded with a Ferrari (that was meant as a joke the payment for this job isn't a ferrari, but I'm sure if you did THAT good of a job, the rewards would be endless!)
My website needs a good look at, I need someone to tell me what I'm doing right and what I'm doing wrong, and what I need to do to make it appear at the top of google for keywords such as telecare, elderly care, medication reminder, elderly safety, home safety, social care, homecare, telehealth, independent living etc.
Would also be useful for someone techy who has a bit of know how with the web design to help me with niggly things like extension less urls, and http:// redirect.
So I see companies with 50,000 followers on twitter, 100 comments on every blog they post, 100,000 likes on their facebook pages, 500,000 views on their you tube videos and I wonder how they do it. I know the obvious thing is to create good content that is worthy of watching/reading, but I can do that because my company is a service for elderly people, and as anyone in the UK will know, social care and the budget cuts are a hot topic. I have something to say on pretty much any story on the news about elderly, I have plenty of advice for elderly to keep in their home and stay independent (but can be aimed at the son's and daughter's) and more.
And that's pretty much it, I understand that this isn't something that can be done in a couple of days, but instead is about growth, so that's why I want to work with people over time.
I would like people to answer the following questions, and also give me links to other stuff they have done that has been of success. Plus it would be useful if you were from the UK but not a necessity.
Have you got a blog and a website and how often do you write?
What success have you had in the past?
How did you become 'good at social media marketing'?
Will you work with me to monitor my social media progression and how?
