Hello! I'll be honest, I'm not exactly sure what I need! So I'm hoping someone with expertise can help and advise me.
In a nutshell; just as every business needs, I need my website to come up first in searches, for customers to click my website or contact me and ultimately convert into customers using my service. I need very local customers only.
I've started an ironing company. I have no technical knowledge! I created my own website using 1and1, I've made a Facebook page, I advertised that page through Facebook which cost me £34 before I ended it as I got absolutely nothing back from it. I set up a Google Ad and set a limit if £2 per day which began getting me clicks, but costing me way too much as I obviously didn't setup the keywords properly (people searching for 'how to fit an ironing board cover' clicked my ad, cost me £1.86 and were never going to be a customer!). However I've had an advisor from Google working on my ad for the last 2 weeks which seems to have improved it slightly. I've had 2 customers so far, both from Google, and 1 contact through each of Facebook and Google who didn't convert to customers. I have no Facebook likes and neither of my customers left reviews for me. I started linking my business to other websites; Foursquare, yell, yelp etc. I've now started paying a company, against my better judgement, more than I can afford really, per month to manage my 'listings', which I'd really rather cancel and do myself or pay one-off to have it done rather than pay monthly as I really cant afford the monthly fee right now, as well as Google Ads costs. I'd really rather either get Google Ads working for me or stop having to spend on the ads, so I'd like some guidance on this please. I think I need help with linking, ranking, Google visibility, Google ads and SEO. Willing to pay a one off fee for the help to set me up online. Thank you!

The short answer to your need is that the budget is far too low to achieve anything. Also, you should keep in mind that a good conversion rate is in the range of 1-3%. Long story short...keep the money and see what you can do yourself by learning more about SEO and digital marketing on Adwords/Facebook. Happy to provide some free advice if needed.
