Researcher - British & Irish accents

I am developing a website, which is a fun and informative look at the different accents of the British Isles.

I am looking to produce some web pages and videos on the story of accents. Where did they come from ? Which geographical areas correspond with which accents. Typical pronounciations and sayings from that accent/area etc etc

I want these web pages and videos to be both informative, but also
light-hearted and fun. For the videos, I have contacts with some folk around
the country who have wonderful regional accents, who I would employ to do
the voiceovers on the videos.

At this stage, I am looking for folk who either possess the material
I need to produce those pages and videos (possibly a student or ex-student
of linguistics or dialectology ?) or who would be interested to do a few hours work to research and collate material.

The plan is to collect the material to make the web pages and videos and
then present that material to people who can then use their writing skills
to turn the material into fun/informative web pages or story boards for
producing videos.

Here are some of my starter ideas for the type of material we would be
interested in. I'm not expecting someone to have the material for all the
suggestions below. If you have material to cover just one of the subjects
below, we would love to hear from you. Also, if you have any other material,
not listed below, but which you think would be an interesting angle on British & Irish accents, please get in touch.

Where does the English language come from ?
The History of the different accents of the British Isles,
how did the different accents evolve ?
Accent Demonstration - typical sounds, pronounciations, sayings for each of the accents.
The different accents of Wales.
The different accents of Scotland.
The different accents of Ireland.
Where did Received Pronounciation come from ?
Where did Cockney Rhyming slang come from ?
Any other interesting material related to accents ??
