Project scope – to develop an innovative, affordable games console steering-wheel stand for use with simulation driving games (examples attached).
The stand will provide a compact and stable platform to mount a steering wheel, pedal box combination and have adjustment to allow a user to sit in a typical household chair/sofa without having to sit upright to use the wheel. The wheel stand should be compact and foldable to allow for easy storage when not in use.
Project deliverables - 2D conceptual design, 3D cad files, mechanical BOM (bill of materials).
