‘Personal marketing plan’ for staff to generate leads from their own contacts

We are a start up Professional services organisation specialising in partnering with VCT/Private Equity firms (approx 40 employees)
We provide one team that can support a one off project or on-going fully outsourced service, covering the following areas;
• Analytics
• Client Services
• Finance – Corporate
• Finance – Investments
• HR, Premises and Technology
• Legal, Company Secretarial & Compliance
• Marketing
All employees (or the vast majority will have built a list professional contacts book over the years working for other companies or professional services within the Private Equity /VCT sector).
It would be good to be able to encourage staff to ‘mine’ their contacts in order to identify and contact possible viable new client leads. Recognising there may be a role for Linked In/Social Media here but not necessarily exclusively.
Looking for strategic plan which has practical/tactical recommendations.
