We are looking for a natural (doesn't have to be Irish) sounding voice-over artist for eight videos promoting golf in Northern Ireland, the scripts for which I have provided below. We are looking for someone who is engaging, friendly and warming. Only those providing samples will be considered.
INTRO
Northern Ireland... just five and a half thousand square miles in size but a giant on the global stage when it comes to golf
The country's world-class golf courses really help it punch above its weight, with the perfect mix of links, parklands, and resorts.
There's Royal County Down – ranked as high as No 1 in multiple Top 100 lists – and Royal Portrush, a soon-to-be three time Open Championship host
But while they provide the bucket list destinations, it would be remiss to ignore the the other courses that should be part of any golfer’s itinerary while visiting this special part of the world...
PORSTEWART
Situated on the magnificent Causeway Coast, Portstewart presents a difficult but fair challenge.
The Strand course is indisputably the jewel in Portstewart’s crown for both quality and scenery.
The course is a classic links, with towering sand dunes and spectacular views of the Atlantic Ocean, Donegal hills, and River Bann at every turn.
The 1st, with its elevated tee and well-bunkered doglegged fairway, is about as memorable an opening hole as you will ever play.
There's a reason Jon Rahm, who won his maiden European Tour title here, calls the front nine "the best stretch of holes in the world".
TEMPLEPATRICK
Templepatrick Golf & Country Club, a four-star Doubletree resort by Hilton, has undergone extensive investment to make it a must-stay in the region.
The course, a mature parkland interspersed with lakes, features more than 7,000 yards of challenging fairways and greens - and you may even get to meet some of the wildlife!
Off the course you can enjoy a drink and some food in Kinahan's Bar and Brasserie, or relax in the health club, fully equipped with an indoor pool, sauna, fitness centre, and spa.
CASTLEROCK
A pitching wedge across the River Bann is the seaside resort of Castlerock.
Here you will find a fabulous links course set among rolling sand dunes, with eye-catching views of Donegal and the Isle of Islay in Scotland.
The championship course, Mussenden Links, is a true test for any level of player.
The signature 4th hole, Leg o' Mutton, is a 200-yard par-3 with a railway line running down the right, a burn on the left, and a raised green.
While you're here, be sure to have a knock round the nine-hole Bann course, with a par-5 that has been described as "one of the most scenic holes in Ireland".
MALONE
One of Ireland's finest parkland courses, Malone was founded in 1895 and has been part of the sporting and social landscape in Belfast since its inception.
From its first location at Stranmillis to the current site at Ballydrain, just five miles south of Belfast, the club has welcomed many golfers from all levels including those that simply want to enjoy the surroundings and bar facilities. Or, as it's called in Ulster, the "craic".
The CK Cotton-designed course gently rolls through 330 acres of immaculate parkland along the River Lagan. You are certain of a warm welcome at Malone.
BELVOIR
While just three miles from Belfast, golfers at Belvoir are shielded from the noise and sights of the city by huge, mature trees which line every fairway, many of which were well established in 1927 when the course was first built using teams of horses and hand ploughs.
Largely unaltered since its design, the only changes to the course have been brought about by the planting of 40,000 new trees in the late 1950s.
From the balcony of the imposing new clubhouse, the green fingers of the fairways fan out like avenues, giving panoramic views of the 9th green, 10th fairway, 13th tee, and 18th green.
CAIRNDHU
A hidden gem at the gateway to the Glens of Antrim, which some of you will know as Game of Thrones country, Cairndhu offers one of the most spectacular stretch of opening holes you'll likely play.
With stunning clifftop views over the Irish Sea and the Scottish coastlines, you'll never get tired of teeing up here.
OUTRO
So whether you're visiting this wonderful corner of the United Kingdom for its spectacular courses, or world-famous tourist attractions such as the Giant's Causeway or Titanic Belfast, a golf break in Northern Ireland will never disappoint.
