Male Voice Actor To Portray Love Interest in Sci-fi Radio Drama

The Dark Lady Podcast is looking for a male voice actor, (preferably with an American accent), for our upcoming episode, "Love Doll."

We are seeking a voice actor to portray the role of Dave Silverstein, a middle aged husband and businessman living 100 years in the future. Dave Silverstein is a normal, ordinary, everyday white collar worker. 10 years ago, he lost his wife, Genie, to cancer. She was the love of his life and he could not live without her. In his grief, he purchased a Love Doll, an artificially intelligent robot companion, and made it look like the spitting image of his dead wife. He uploaded all of Genie's emails, photos, videos, and voicemails into Love Doll's memory.

After 5 years living with the Love Doll, things begin to turn sour. The Love Doll is malfunctioning and Dave is getting older. Dave meets another woman and wants to move on with his life.

This role has approximately 315 - 350 words. Please note that this is not an advertisement, this is radio theater. There is a lot of reading in between the lines in this script. There are key emotional cues that the actor must relay to the audience. The voice actor must sound like he is genuinely upset, angry, remorseful, and so on.
