Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
Hi there, we are Matthew & Daniel of Veiled Hand Productions, close to completion on post production for our debut short Stray Dog. Picture is locked and audio is soon to be the same; we just need an original score to complete, which will be approx 6-7 mins of the full runtime.
Stray Dog is about a young man who has recently become homeless on the streets of Glasgow, Scotland; he meets and befriends an older homeless man who takes him under his wing. A conversation begins between the two that leads to dark revelations.
The style we are looking for is somber, subtle, ambient. We like the idea of a synth and acoustic guitar based score, something that underlines the plot without sitting ontop of it.
Below are a few examples of the kind of the mood and style we were thinking of:-
The Last of Us- Vanishing Grace (From 1:17) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zIL4iETMB-0
Max Richter- That Solitary Moment Together
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9dDqciSm2q0
Breaking Bad- Matches in the Pool
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=09UkuAjr7y0
Breaking Bad- Chained Dog
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iHeQX9D8_xc
M83- Slight Night Shiver
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0TX7R-2VTBE
Finally, here is a link to the picture locked edit, standing at 8 minutes 44 seconds:- audio has yet to be applied and credits are to be finalised but should be about the right length as they currently are:- https://drive.google.com/open?id=1HQe1uO3kCxzhpf10B8d_L4XI-nEkXNP5
Please note we need to establish a fixed price for the work before we begin.
Please don't hesitate to ask any questions about the project or anything else that comes to mind. If you have any existing pieces of work that show you are a good match for the project, we would love to hear them to inform our decision.
Hope to hear from you soon,
Matthew & Daniel O'Neill
