Experience Level: Expert
I am looking for someone to create the sound tracks needed for our new escape room game we are building:
Overall concept is this is a training facility and we're putting players through a training system on a old tired space ship in the future (think red dwarf), something critical has happened and the team need to boot up the escape pod, load some coordinates, put a flight crew in place, and reconnect the power to be able to launch to safety.
Below are the soundtrack files required:
• Main background track - approx 90mins - Start with approx 10secs of "booting up" sounds as the training system initialises, AI voice etc, then go into the general spaceship sounds
• Lab drone - approx 5-10mins and needs to be able to loop - General relaxing spaceship soundscape to be used before we boot up the system
• Spaceship launch - approx 10 secs - When teams successfully complete the game they should launch the escape pod, so we will play this track (clinking clanking, sirens, warnings, systems booting up, then launch the pod)
• Game end - approx 10 secs - This will be played either after the game win sound track, or just if the team runs out of time. Closing the system down, resetting the training problem, etc. then it goes back into the "lab drone" track
Then there are some interaction elements that we'll manually trigger for a couple of specific parts of the game:
• Detected - System warning system, alerts that an unidentified lifeform has been detected "Warning! Warning! Unidentified lifeform has been detected, please stand in decontamination chamber and await further instructions"
• Visual - "Visual check in progress, please standby" - scanning sounds etc.
• Pass - Green tick type sound, "Visual check completed successfully... Possible Captain Horcheck identified... please present body signature"
• Fail - Error sounds, "Visual check failure, lifeform not identified"
• Pass body signature - Green tick type sound, "Body signature completed successfully... voice recognition software enabled... after the tone please say your passphrase..." beep.
• Fail body signature - Error sounds "Body signature not recognised, please try again"
• Pass passphrase - Green tick type sound, "Pass phrase completed successfully... 89% match for Captain Horcheck... extra verifcation required... please prepare for Horcheck balance verifcation... stand on left leg, cover right ear, close both eyes, and stick tongue out... starting scan" scan sounds for 5-10 seconds
• Fail passphrase - Error sounds "Passphrase not recognised, please try again"
• Pass wobble check - "Captain Horcheck wobbleness exact match... welcome aboard Captain, your ice latte is in the refrigerator."
There are three other one off hits that we trigger when they complete certain tasks in the room as well...
• Fuses reconnected - Alert sounds, friendly jingle, "Master fuses reconnected successfully... power systems back online"
• Coordinates - Alert sounds, friendly jingle (some progression from the previous one), "Flight coordinates entered correctly, navigation systems back online"
• Flight crew - Alert sounds, friendly jingle (some progression from the previous one), "Flight Crew assembled and awaiting launch"
I think this is everything. Please let me know a cost and leadtime to produce. If you're able to provide any kind of sample for the type of thing you would do that would be appreciated.
