I need audio from a scene I shot on video edited,mix,master 4min

NEED MAJOR HELP!

We shot this scene for part of a project, but the audio is not what would expect, it was recorded with a boom mic, but the levels keep changing and sudden parts of the audio go up and down, some key things that we notice that we would like fixed.
- 00:59 sound skips
- 01:39 fades out drastically
- 02:13 ambience sounds off
- 02:21 sound drops out again
these are the things we can hear, but to a professional I know their must be a lot more.
an idea is maybe to add some air con or fridge back noise to help some bits.

what we would like is to know if this can be improved drastically If its possible, or not because we didn't record properly, the idea is to have it very smooth so no sound audio changes that are distracting for the viewer but very natural and fluid, the background noise seems to be an issue.
