Description
Experience Level: Expert
We are a constituted community group in Whitchurch, Hampshire.
Long story short – there is a surplus amount of funding in a grant programme that we are part of and we would like to use this for audio work. The amount available is £1,500 – no more, no less - to record and edit two audio trails.
Work has to be delivered by end December, but we would need to pay you far earlier.
We have a very straightforward spec which is two (2) audio trails which bring alive the story of our community heritage
Adult: 40 minute (could be less, if impacted by price)
Children: 20 minute
To keep this as straightforward as possible, we would like to use the Whitchurch Heritage Trail and also the Family Fun Walk (attached) as the starting point/skeleton for content; in essence, bring that to life and flesh it out so that there are two audio versions tailored to each audience.
Both these trails have been developed by the local walkers are welcome group.
Additional points to note/include for content
Whitchurch Silk Mill is our town’s main tourist attraction and rely on paying visitors. We are trying to use this audio trail as a teaser to get walkers to want to go and make a paid for visit inside the silk mill – not replace going there. Ie, would likely include no more info than is in the heritage trail.
In addition to what is in the heritage trail, there is a really nice as yet unexplored bit of local heritage in terms of Whitchurch’s folk music heritage along a road called The Weir and perhaps an audio recording of Jon Wilkes and Paul Sartin singing an extract of one of the songs

We could also get a local nature group to add some nature info.
UK based professionals only.
