Chief Editor and Manager For Sleep Aid Team

Best Kept Secret is an audio creator on Patreon and YouTube. We do NSFW ('Not Safe For Work) and SFW ('Safe For Work') content on those two platforms.

We are looking to grow our 'Safe for Work' sleep aid with boyfriends channel on YouTube. 'Sleep aids' with boyfriends focus on a short story which merges into a pattern of someone falling asleep, it fits into the broader ASMR niche on there.

This freelance job would be ongoing and the details on payment can be discussed more with us. The number provided below is just a guide as it depends on the time taken to complete each sleep aid.

We are looking for a chief editor to do two things mainly:
- Regularly edit sleep aids for our audience on YouTube. You will be expected to do roughly 6 edits a month initially. But this is likely to scale up fast as the channel grows. We will need many more sleep aids per month as that happens.
- 'Manage' a small team of other sleep aid editors (2 or 3 other people) - i.e. to check their edits and sound design and make sure it is good enough to pass what we need from it. If it is not, you give each editor feedback on what they need to change with timestamps.

You'll be expected to be knowledgeable on
- Basic sound design and making an audio piece sound immersive (e.g. adding sounds tastefully and in places that make sense).
- SFX banks (e.g. royalty-free platforms like Epidemic Sound and Sound Snap and using foley and sounds from these places)
- Whatever DAW you are comfortable in e.g. Ableton or Logic. You should be skilled with doing automation, adding SFX in the right places at the right volumes, cleaning any audio/removing noise and weird sounds
- Latest AI technology that can help speed up the editing process
