Audio Editor Needed for Cinematic Audiobook / Audiodrama (Long-Term Project)
I’m hiring a skilled audio editor to assist with an long-term cinematic audiobook/audiodrama production. This is ongoing work with recurring chapters and consistent delivery.
Scope of work per project:
• Organize narration files by chapter and sequence
• Clean narration audio (remove breaths, background noise, and mistakes while preserving natural performance)
• Deliver a clean narration version with no sound effects
• Create a second version with cinematic sound design, including layered scene effects (environment sounds, movement, action effects, etc.)
• Adjust pitch, speed, and volume to create unique variations in sound design
• Mix audio so narration remains clear and immersive
Each finished piece is typically 8–12 minutes of narration plus intro/outro ambience. Strong storytelling sense and attention to detail are important.
Requirements:
• Experience with audiobook or audiodrama editing
• Strong audio cleanup and mixing skills
• Ability to design immersive soundscapes
• Proficiency with professional DAWs (Adobe Audition, Reaper, etc.)
• Reliable communication and consistent turnaround
