Audio Editing to make my track song professional, clear lyrically, and balanced.

I've recorded a rap song on garage band on the MAC…. Not really for the faint hearted.

No matter how hard I try I can't seem to get it sounding 'professional' enough. I feel somethings missing, it needs tidying up, and I wish the lyrics were a little clear without getting that annoying echo. Maybe it needs something added, I don't know.

I'm producing about 1 of these every couple of days at the moment, so if it comes back sounding to satisfaction there is a fair amount of repeat business coming.

If I know I can just make a beat, lay down some smack and then someone is going to make it sound awesome, then i'm happy.

Please someone, come to my aid.

Oh another note, I rehearse it over my beats. Whenever I play via another source, doesn't sound quite the same. What do I know.
