Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
I would like Crime Map app developed for iOS (iPhone and iPad native) that displays crimes statistics and neighbourhood information that is sourced from an open government API.
The app should be able to do it by a location search of the current area and also by inputting a post code.
The data feed for the app will come from a government API - full documentation here: http://data.police.uk/api/docs/
There are similar apps on the app store so something along the same lines
Examples of current similar apps are:
https://itunes.apple.com/gb/app/crime-map-england-wales/id422541257?mt=8
http://www.crimemapping.com/map.aspx
http://www.crimemapping.com/mobile/app.aspx
The app will either be at a low level price point or as a free app with banner advertising.
There would also be scope for a website that would use the same API to allow users to input their post code to search Crime Data in their area, so someone who could do the app and web site would be ideal.
If the iOS app is successful in the App Store there is scope for an Android version.
I would prefer a fixed price bid rather than an hourly rate.
