Experience Level: Intermediate
We are looking for a Telesales freelancer to sell Christmas Party Packages to our Live Comedy Shows in December. Sales will target SME and corporate businesses arranging their Christmas parties during October and November.
The job will involve identifying and qualifying prospects, negotiation and closing sales. Closing a sale will require the commitment of a 50% deposit from customers. Details of the sales will then be passed to an administrator for processing and after sales follow up.
We are looking for motivated, self-starters who are willing to work on a commission only basis. The estimated commission per sale is £90, with the potential to earn over £3,000 for the period.
The telesales person will work offsite and manage their own working hours. Detailed product reference materials and training will be provided.
Skills and Responsibilities
* Develop lists of prospects based on customer profiles provided
* Make initial contact and qualify prospects
* Maintain regular contact with management regarding product inventory levels
* Secure the sales of Packages by taking 50% deposit from customers
* Pass customer and sales details to management for processing
Skills and Experience
* Excellent phone manner and communication skills
* Good negotiation skills and the ability to persuade customers
* Flexible and self-motivated, with the ability to meet agreed sales targets
* Two years or more telesales experience
* Business-to-business telesales experience
* Experience selling similar products preferable e.g. corporate entertainment packages.
