A fantastic chance to work for a new concept in online movie business database.
The strapline goes like this:-
Our online movie business database is a machine; an online machine for movie insiders to promote themselves, for movie locations to attract other productions, and for movie businesses to get the credit they deserve."
Soft launched the AFCI Locations Trade Show in Santa Monica in April 2010, the four sections of the iMOVIEi database cross pollinate information about movies, movie locations, and the businesses and people that make them.
The site aims to do some things IMDb doesn't. Two years in the making, and developed with top level digital agency Lightmaker, the project is ambitious, global and hugely scaleable.
In terms of revenue, we follow a 'freemium' model, offering basic services for free, while charging a subscription for advanced or special features. The strategy is to grow the business by word of mouth from inside the film industry, and in the longer term to move on and out into the mainstream market for behind the scenes information about movies, and about how and where they are made.
Here is a Telesales role where you will have the opportunity to utilise your experience and be part of an expanding team and business.
You'll be selling:-
- Annual subscriptions to businesses already listed in the database.
- Profile listings that allow a business to capitalise on its movie credits.
- A tempting introductory offer - first 1000 businesses to subscribe get upgrade to free for life
You'll need to:-
- Have the ability and motivation to work independently from home
- Be comfortable working with Web 2 online applications
- Be happy researching online, cold calling and selling to all levels of business customers
- Have Several years telesales experience in a B2B sales environment
- Show a proven track record in generating sales and then exceeding targets
- Have the ability to handle and follow through the sales process beginning to end
The website is live, but just fine tuning it before we push the button on the initial sales and marketing campaign.
This role will suit a tenacious sales person who is driven and hungry to succeed.
