This job seeks a telemarketer to make conversational telephone follow up calls on behalf of our client in the event management space. This will follow up a recent email campaign with all conversations recorded in to Dynamics CRM.
The aim is to engage the contacts in conversation based on what they think of the information received. Clearly this requires you to finesse the ability to take the call where the contact wishes to take it.
All calls are to be recorded and call results are reviewed and then passed back to client for sales follow up. Anyone “interested now” is followed through and tracked by from here. Nett Sales will need to record the results of the remainder of the calls in our database and present this information to you and the client.
In more detail the process looks like this:
We provide a prioritised a call list of people who clicked on one of the relevant email links and put these in the call list. Naturally we wonder why they did this and we want to know what their reactions and feedback would be. Therefore we take a telephone approach which is unscripted, listens and is conversational. We have no desire to pitch, sell or talk, so we engage through natural, high level conversations.
In these cases we will set out to have conversations that very easily identify if the contact:
• Received the offer email
• What their thought(s) and feedback were
• Whether any of the identified issues are relevant to them and their business
• What they were interested in doing next
Fundamentally we want to find out whether:
• The contact is the right one
• Whether the issue identified and the possible solution appeals
• If the contact would like to proceed now
• Whether they would like to talk further later (i.e. not now)
In each case we want you to:
Telephone the company. If no number is supplied or doesn’t work we want you to search Google and Yell.com, update it to the contact record in dynamics and then call it using the script
We would like you to add phone calls to the contacts into our CRM (training and demo will be provided). A full brief and call training is available for the successful telemarketer.
This will be a fantastic role for the right person. This is an ongoing requirement for telemarketing support to high level business to business lead generation and sales campaigns.
The calls that will be made will be following up emails sent and require a conversational style, rather than following a sales script. The ability to quickly establish rapport on the phone and talk knowledgeably about a subject based on a brief is vital.
• Successful calls will be where a conversation has taken place and the contact has been qualified into one of a number of defined categories.
• A genuine interest in sales, lead generation and customer relationship is important.
• You must be able to think for yourself and contribute to the debate on getting more sales and winning opportunities.
• Must be able to communicate verbally, in writing and be efficient in typing.
• Interpersonal skills important – the ability to chat to business people.
• Confidence to express opinions
• Can work unsupervised
• ‘Can do’ attitude
• Our projects vary and a good knowledge around IT, technology and business use of IT is helpful be not essential.
Will require home PC with Windows 7 or 8, MS Office 10, home / office broadband, able to work nearby where the broadband router is located so Voip telephone (provided) can be plugged in. This needs a network cable connection, so working within cable reach is an advantage but not essential. In order to help you be as effective as possible we record all calls and give you regular feedback.
Duties will include:

Updating client data and telephone activity in CRM system and / or spreadsheets
Various web research
Process email replies
Handle new customer enquiries and questions
Handling feedback, product updates, offers and additional training from the above parties
Weekly and monthly sales reporting into Excel spreadsheets
All calls will be made within normal UK business hours but within reason you can select the hours you work.
