An opportunity has arisen for a sales & telemarketer within our start-up. You will be at the forefront of the sales effort, driving appointments and demo bookings for our software consultants.
This is a role for a hands-on individual and presents plenty of opportunity to flourish. A right candidate could have the potential and opportunity to grow and lead our sales force across national and international markets as we are planning to expand to South Africa.
The current role is remote - home based, the requirement is access to the internet. We will provide software and scripts for telemarketing.
The role:
– The role requires the ability to drive new business revenues through the acquisition and servicing of new customers
– You will be confident in telesales and telemarketing
– Your main task will be arranging live demos for our consultants
– You will be advising start-ups on business plans and funding options
– Help with organizing webinars, product videos and interviews
The ideal candidate will have:
– Outstanding written and oral skills in English;
– Strong B-to-B sales and telemarketing skills
– Experience within start-up community and good understanding of this vertical (co-working spaces, accelerators, crowdfunding, consultancy etc.)
– A passion for all things small business
– Fast-learner, autonomous and well-organised
– Team player with a positive attitude – Available to work non-standard hours
– Good writing skills to produce independently website texts, brochures and blog content
Key Responsibility:
Driving the engagement. The role required someone who recognises the opportunity, picks up the phone, engages easily and listens with purpose. Much of your dealings will be over phone. You will be holding meetings, presenting options, solutions and recommendations, always with your eye to close the deal.
Marketing and lead generation. This role will also require you be pro-active in generation new enquiries.
Reporting. You will be required to regular updates in our CRM, as well as contracts management. You understand not only the importance of knowing where we are in terms of pipeline, projected wins, success numbers for your own tracking but is also critical for our business development and strategy planning.
