ON Communication is a Science & Technology specialist consultancy and marketing agency that assists corporate clients with both internal and external communications. This is an exciting sales position that will involve selling our unique know-how in Energy, Sustainability and Climate Change and our services which include consultancy and the production of science and technology based films, books and brochures, exhibition stands, websites and other digital media. It represents an ideal opportunity to bring your proven sales skills, enthusiasm and commitment to our creative and strongly business focused environment, underpinned by our ISO 9001:2000 certification.
To be successful, you will demonstrate experience and a high degree of success in sales with B2B blue chip clients at Senior Level, preferably linked to the world of science, technology, energy and climate change. You will need to be results-orientated, a superb communicator, confident, tenacious and have excellent selling and closing skills, as you will work to sales targets and be measured by the number of contacts, client visits, presentation and revenue you generate, tracking each step of the sales cycle.
To allow you to deliver this key role of selling our specialised communications solutions, you will have previous experience in working with CRM and sales tracking system, be confident with this system and use it as a tool to drive sales forward. You will be able to identify, build, maintain and progress good business opportunities through the whole sales cycle, thus enabling the business to expand its path to growth. The role will include generating new leads through cold calling and telemarketing, arranging qualified follow-up meetings, mailers and sophisticated prospecting.
Initially you will be working alongside the Directors and Project Managers who will introduce you to our portfolio of services and clients. As an individual you will undoubtedly be positive, bright and resourceful, with a joie de vivre that is balanced by a mature and highly professional attitude. You will need advanced IT skills and be based within 20 miles of Abingdon, south of Oxford
This role is for 3-6 months, 2-3 days a week, working from our offices in Abingdon.
