Seeking talented sales representative(s) that know how to seal the deal for customizable event sponsorship packages. The right person is able to convey to sponsors the value in this innovative international mixed event series. Experience with cold calls a must! We can provide some leads but someone who can do prospecting as well is preferred. You can negotiate the commission rate based on your experience and what you have to bring to this job.
Sales goals are based on securing qualified sponsors for an innovative green event marketing series. Knowledge of CSR (corporate social responsibility), art/entertainment, social media and guerrilla marketing are helpful as there are strong social cause, innovative and arts components in the event series. A background in securing cause contributions is desirable in the right sales person for this job. Causes include e-waste recycling, ending human trafficking, help for the homeless and ending hunger, and environmental stewardship.
For this inaugural season the top sponsorship position cost 195,000 (USD) and minimum sales target is 10 sponsorship packages sold but with additional sponsors the OTE could be larger. Using 20% for the Top package mentioned above, the commission would be USD 39,000. For some packages there is more than one available while others are exclusive. The next level sponsorship starts at USD 165,000 that at 20% earns you USD 33,000. Another tier sponsorship starts at 136,000 and a 20% commission earns you USD 27,200. These top three packages alone can earn USD 99,200 converted into pounds equals the stated OTE. However meeting the sales target means earning more.
Sponsorships cover the annual performance season. There are several organizations collaborating on this project to raise awareness of the causes they serve - so sales need to target both international and regional sponsors. Sales materials can be provided for download or as email attachments.
Definitely willing to pay 20% commission on the sponsorship packages to someone who can deliver sealed deals, but may be willing to give a less experienced person a chance for a lower commission rate. This commission only job is only the start, for the right person we would like to build a long term relationship. The commission range mentioned is negotiable depending on what the sale person proposes and has to offer. The high end definitely requires prospecting as well as sales. This is the first of an ongoing annual season with more projects about to launch.
