We are currently looking for someone who has previous experience of web and/or magazine/print advertising, is organised, a self-starter, has excellent communication and customer care skills, can generate well written e-mails, has a professional sales manner and who will not damage our brand with hard selling.
In brief, you would contact potential advertisers (from a data base provided) to place an advert within our website for specified sections. These leads are usually fresh ones which have not been called before, however most will have shown an interest in our website and will have already received information from us via our e-shot service… so they are already aware of THE BIKER GUIDE and generally welcome the call. Various marketing e-mails, f&b’s, scripts and more will be provided to you.
To start we want feedback on 50 connected calls (more than 100 leads will be provided to allow for none connected calls) and with these calls we would expect some sales. As we are a niche publication, tele-sales have a high conversion rate (usually 1 in 15). For any sales booked by you during these calls we would also give you 10% extra*. There are various advertising options and rates, so the extra earnings are down to your skill levels. For us it is not about the amount of calls, it is about the quality of them, so we would expect in one hour 10 to 15 connected calls.
As most of these potential clients are accommodation providers, for the best response we would want these calls to be made Tuesday to Thursday, between 10 – 12 and/or 2 until 3.
So if you have a strong sales personality, are innovative and a self-starter, have a professional manner and are able to commit to these calls, then let us know why we should consider you for this work.
