Experience Level: Intermediate
We require someone to handle the sales process and get new b2b customers. We have a large database of panelists who complete our surveys. The surveys are used to conduct market research, build SEO links, product promotion, generate leads and get press coverage.
The cost to a b2b customer for running or sponsoring a survey is £199 which includes a prize draw item (usually valued at £25-£50).
Our site generates around 50,000 hits per month. Previous surveys have been run for Smarta, PosterXXL, The Good Web Guide, Daily Golf Deal as well as in house analytics such as our brand positivity index.
Each survey generates between 1,000 - 5,000 responses with a opt-in rate to the sponsors newsletter or around 30%
We have also been featured in The Guardian's Winning new business section.
The job will involve:
1) Sourcing potential leads
2) Introducing our product via phone/email
3) Following up interested businesses to close the sale
We expect each customer to be closed within 5 hours work.
2 hours to source and introduce to an interested business
3 hours to follow up and close.
You may work the hours over a period of one week.
We will pay up front for 5 hours work.
If you are successful in closing a customer we will pay up front for another 5 hours work.
There is extra commission payable for adding services to the £199 survey, such as a press release writing and distribution or infograph creation.
You will be required to keep notes and times of everyone contacted on a Google Docs Spreadsheet.
You will also need a landline telephone and professional manner.
