Telesales person required for immediate start selling advertising space to the wedding market. This is a business to business telesales position.
Postion will involve calling wedding businesses in the London & Birmingham areas and selling advertising space in a wedding book. The position requires the ablity to cold call and to close.
The publication is two small discount books whereby wedding suppliers advertise a particular discount to their services targeted at the new bride-to-be. Each publication has 50 available advertising spots. The price of the advertising slot being sold is £95.00 per slot.
The initial test run of 25 calls converted 7 sales, a 28% conversion rate. Calls will be to both landline and mobile phones. All outbound calls will be made through the company Skype account.
Leads will be generated from current and existing advertisers in wedding magazines and online wedding websites. The cost of buying the bridal magazines will of course be reimbursed. Access to the Thompson Professional Business Search database is also available if required.
The campaign needs to complete the first week in December. Similar campaigns are run six times per year in various locations throughout the country.
We will consider an hourly fee, fixed fee or per sale fee for the contract. If charging hourly or fixed fee rates then full calling reports will be expected.
The sales collatoral is available for review upon request.
