Looking for an experienced PR freelancer to manage launch campaign for a new online business.
Responsibilities:-
Writing a press release and getting it featured in major national and international publications (online & offline) and managing follow-ups and queries. Providing tracking/cuttings, if possible. The coverage is required throughout the UK and EU.
Duration: 4-6 weeks. (This contract is for a one-off launch campaign but we will provide repeat business if we are happy with your results)
Launch: Scheduled for mid June 2011.
Description: We operate as an online marketplace of shipments/deliveries linking transporters directly to customers - Customers post shipment requests and Transporters bid for delivery of those shipments in a reverse auction format. Transporters benefit by getting more money per journey by utilising their spare capacity and it also saves them time searching for new business. And the Customer gets a bargain.
Fee: Free to customers, transporters pay commission on winning bid value.
Competition: We have a couple of established competitors.
USP: We operate throughout EU with the most competitive fee structure for transporters.
I would like someone with extensive experience as a Journalist and established contacts. Please provide examples of your work and how you achieved success.
