We are looking for a Talent Agent / Celebrity Booker / Vip Guestlist and Entertainment PR person to help book talent for the Square Mile Masked Ball for Boris Johnson
The Talent / Celebrities will either be guests or asked to present a Movie Role Auction Lot to raise money for the supported Charities(one of which could be their own)
1st September 2010
The Event:
The Masked Ball is now a firm fixture on the social calendar after last years hugely successful event. Last year taking place at the Natural History Museum in May this years event has once again been confirmed with Boris Johnson headlining and as guest of honour and his charity the benefactors. The charity and also Boris have made this the one and only event of its type and style they will be involved with due to the success of last years event. The beauty of this also means that the charities board of Directors (which reads like a whos who of bank CEOs and Hedge Fund Mangers) will be taking approx 50% of the tables at the event. The remaining tables will be made up of the cream of the crop of Square Mile magazine and Hedge magazine readers, many of these being hand selected and receiving personal and bespoke invitations.
The guests:
Only the finest calibre of guests will be attending the event, split 50/50 between our readers and the board of Directors for Boris' Charity.
lll start with the Charity as the only event of its type, size and style Boris and also Boriss' charity will be linked with all year, so as a result they are expecting to raise a large % of their annual fundraising from this one event. As a result they will be working very hard to make sure the wealthiest people from their database as well as from the Board of Directors are in attendance event. The board of Directors include Bob Diamond who is the CEO of Barclays and has just donated £1 million to Boris' Charity, Lloyd Blankfein who is the CEO of Goldman Sachs and has also just donated to the charity to the sum of £2.5million, other notables includes the likes of Arki Busson who is the celeb hedge fund manager and reported to be worth in excess of £460 million and was recently voted as the 7th most wanted person in the country to be at your party by Tatler. The rest of the board is made up of similar wealthy individuals.
The other half of the event will be made up of readers of Square Mile magazine but more predominantly Hedge magazine. Within the 5,906 Hedge subscribers includes all of the top 10 hedge fund managers on this years weeks Sunday Times Rich list. In addition its important to note that the UK Hedge Fund market is worth an estimated £7 trillion according to the Alpha survey and of the top 25 earning hedge fund managers in the world 11 are UK based and all 11 receive our magazine by request. These include:
Louis Bacon from Moore Capital (worth £1.1bn), Robert Miller from Sail Advisors (worth £950m), Alan Howard from Brevan Howard (worth £875m), David Harding from Winton Capital (worth £430m), Michael Platt from Bluecrest Capital (worth £375m), William Reeves from Bluecrest Capital (worth £375m), Nat Rothschild from Atticus Capital (worth £330m), Stephen Butt from Silchester International (worth £300m), Michael Hintze from CQS (worth £300m), Paul Marshall from Marshall Wace (worth £300m) and Ian Wace from Marshall Wace (worth £300m).
Sure you can appreciate the worth of the above. Now extend that to every single one of the 5,906 Hedge Fund managers on our database, each receiving a personal invitation from both Boris Johnson and also Martin Deeson who is the Editor of Square Mile magazine and Hedge magazine. The same invites will also be going to all of Boris Johnsons high net worth guests and board of Directors.
I would argue that this will one of the highest calibre events London will have ever seen.
Location:
The venue for this years Masked Ball will be The Hurlingham Club, Fulham.
The Talent / Celebrities will either be guests or asked to present a Movie Role Auction Lot to raise money for the supported Charities(one of which could be their own)
