Experienced Traditional PR executive required for several days work per month. More depending on requirements and capacity.
Must be capable and willing to hit the phones to sell in campaigns to media lists over and above simply hitting send on a mail merge. Work will mostly involve selling in ready made campaigns and outreach pieces, gathering feedback on campaigns from writers and editors (positive or negative) and always enquiring if there are any other opportunities to provide content or contribute in any way be that quotes, articles, data etc.
Additional requirements depending on campaigns might include pitching founders and startups to key industry publications to raise business profiles, securing guest posts or contributed articles, creating PR schedules and timelines, brainstorming ideas, newsjacking relevant stories.
As a small UK SEO & Digital PR agency we punch above our weight with the types of clients we get to work with on a regular basis. Major Household and International brands alongside other agencies who are in need of extra marketing capacity regularly make use of our creative campaigns and out the box thinking to deliver excellent digital PR results.
You must have a proven background at a PR agency or in house PR and demonstrate the ability to sell in to media and get results. You don't have to be a specific sector expert eg b2b or travel PR, we just need people with the broad experience to get stuck in whatever the campaign.
You must be able to rapidly work your way down media lists in order to contact as many prospects as possible in any given timeframe.
All campaigns will be fully and clearly briefed and campaign KPI’s explained. Most campaigns usually involve the need to secure backlinks from online coverage.
All digital assets e.g. press releases, images, URL’s will be provided unless you are tasked with creating any assets.
Media lists can be provided for all outreach activity via Google docs and space made available for you to write your feedback/follow up details. However, if you have access to your own media contacts database then fantastic.
An email address will be provided to you for you to conduct your outreach and sell in.
Please only send proposals that are for a daily rate as a fixed price, not per hour.
