We are a small baby clothing company based in London and we are looking for a wholesale account manager who can contact baby shops both in the UK and overseas to promote the brand and generate sales as well as build a relationship with our current customers. The clothing is high quality and made from organic materials with a good price point.
Part of the initial work is getting our database sorted out and the first couple of weeks work would be spent doing this. We have an extensive database of around 2000 shops but the information needs sorting. We would expect you to organise and maintain the database of baby clothing shops and contact them by both phone and email on a regular basis. When we release new products we would expect you to do a mailout to all customers on the database. After tradeshows we would provide you with a list of companies to contact by phone.
We would pay you an hourly amount and a 10% commission on any orders generated through your activities.
We need you to work around 10 hours a week in total. You must be confident on the telephone with a good telephone manner and English as a first language. Each week you will send us the updated database plus a report of that weeks activities.
If you are able to arrange appointments to visit the shops to show them the goods that would be extremely beneficial and we would pay all associated travel costs.
Previous experience is desirable.
