Social Media consultant required to assist with the marketing of a 5* hotel and gold resort in the Canary Islands. Roles include:
• Identify and analyze issues, patterns and trends in online customer requests & product performance in UK.
• Transfer the information to the marketing department so that they can respond accordingly about:
- Bugs about product in social networks and webs as forum, blogs etc...
- New ideas to online product development in UK
- Frequently asked questions list of online UK audience.
• Monitor online conversations and participate in them to build brand visibility and thought leadership in English speaking networks .
• Author blog posts, articles, podcasts, videos and screencasts
• Establish metrics & report on them on a monthly basis and including recommendations.
• Communicate issues, opportunities and insights.
• Ensure the English community platforms (ie: forums, blogs) are kept up to date and functional.
• Generate compelling editorial content focus on UK audience and manage a schedule of web-chats and competitions for the site communities to engage with.
• Manage communities located in social networking sites including Facebook, Twitter, and other similar social media outposts.
This position is based on a retainer contract.
