Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
We create bespoke, high-end game-based learning resources for children aged 11-16. These resources each consist of three 40-60 minute activities that each deal with different aspects of a given scenario and each focus on different areas of the curriculum. Each resource also comes with a full suite of supporting worksheets, teacher's notes and lesson plans and is a complete package from start to finish.
So far the scenarios have all been fictional (establish a colony on Mars, recapture escaped convicts etc) but recently we decided to offer resources built around specific brands and products. For instance, a mobile phone company might like a branded resource that tasks the student with designing a new handset, handling the distribution network and constructing masts in optimal locations. A drinks company might like a branded resource in tasking the student with carrying out market research, designing a new drink and new packaging. And so on and so forth.
Each branded resource would look at different areas of the curriculum and so be an invaluable teaching resource in the class and at home, but at the same time serve as an incredibly powerful marketing tool due to the level and duration of engagement.
As well as hosting the resource on lxxxxx for our users we would also make the resource available to the company for them to distribute it to their customers if they so wish.
This is already being used in 10% of UK schools less than 3 months after launch so we know the product is good and we know schools want it. As each student spends at least 2 hours on each resource, it shouldn't take too long for business budget holders to work out the impact of a branded resource on their brand awareness - especially as the resources will be used year in, year out as new students come up into KS3.
We are looking for experienced and well-connected sales people to sell these branded resources to big business.
The exact cost of each resource varies depending on requirements, but the average price is around £15k - of which you will get 20% for each sale.
Naturally we will expect you to be a positive reflection of the company and to be polite and courteous even if a sale is not achieved.
