THE ROLE
Initially office based you will be a key member of a close knit sales team.The successful candidate will be responsible for proactively contacting target clients to generate qualified appointments for a Field Sales Representative to conduct an on site visit.You will be selling a service which all companies have a need for, your main focus will be to convince those potential clients to consider changing provider by having a no obligation site visit and quote.A highly customer focused and service based sell building relationships for both new clients and account retention.Once customers are signed up they agree to a contract, as well as your new business responsibilities you will take a key role in customer retention once contracts are due for renewal.Managing your pipeline effectively and autonomously.This is a mature, self managed style work environment in a relatively small team as such there are no rigid call stats and KPIs – your results will speak for themselves.
Requires a quality not quantity approach to selling.
For the right candidate the role will involve progression into field sales within year one, as such all applicants must have the ambition and capability to progress into a field sales role where you will pitch to clients on a face to face basis representing the company to target clients.
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
ALL applicants must have previous business to business Telesales OR Telemarketing experience in an outbound sales environment where you have been personally responsible for successfully securing new business, now seeking an opportunity offering progression into field sales.
You will have a proven ability to meet and exceed targets and will be able to demonstrate the skills outlined in the above job description.
Must have to ability to seek out and secure quality sales opportunities sometimes playing the long game to build relationships over time.
A professional, customer focused and consultative approach is important in order to develop good working relationships with relevant decision makers.
MUST have a full and valid UK driving license
You will be smart and presentable with an understanding of how to conduct business meetings.
