Our company, is a Fayetteville, NC based company in need of qualified independant contractors to lead their Sales Representative/Account Management needs nationwide.
We are an innovative new company that harnesses the networking power of the World Wide Web in order to bring quality IT services to their clients.
To qualify for this exciting opportunity you will need to be established as an independant contractor, and have sales experience in the Information Technology sector.
You will also need at a minimum:
An internet connection
Email Address
Microsoft Word 2003 or higher
Adobe Reader
A scanner
A printer
Compensation will be 40% commission on sales, including 40% commission on monthly service contracts such as hosting.
Salaried positions may also be available for contractors demonstrating exceptional ability
II. Services to be Performed by Contractor
1. Contractor will acquire prospects (Prospect) for Web and Information Technology services, gathering and reporting detailed information as to the needs of prospect in order for Client to conduct a Systems Analysis (Analysis).
2. Contractor will attempt to sell services outlined in proposals (Proposal) provided by Client to Prospect. Proposal will be based on the Analysis. Contractor has the right to increase Proposal rates, or exclude items from the Proposal in order to sell Prospect on the Proposal. Contractor will not decrease Proposal rate or modify Proposal schedule without prior written consent from Client. Once a Prospect signs Proposal they become a customer (Customer). The Client's minimum rate per hour will be $125. The minimum may be changed upon issuance of the Client's Written Consent.
3. Contractor will perform bill collection functions on Customer according to the payment schedules established in Proposal.
III. Time for Performance
Contractor will perform the services according to the following schedule:
The Contractor is not required to follow a particular schedule in accomplishing tasks 1 and 2 outlined in section II of this contract.
Contractor will perform task 3 of section II in accordance with the timeline established in Proposal.
IV. Payment
Client will pay Contractor 40% commission (Commission) of each successful Customer payment (Payment): Payment means that the customer has paid by check, money order, online payment, or other acceptable means to Client, and the funds have been cleared and are accessible in the Client's accounts, plus three additional business days.
Client will pay Commission according to the following schedule:
Upon Payment, Contractor will submit an invoice stating Commission owed. Commission payments will be accrued with each Payment and paid out in full on the 1st or 15th of every month, whichever is closer to the Payment date.
V. State and Federal Taxes
Client will not:
- withhold state or federal income tax from Contractor's payments
- withhold Social Security and Medicare taxes from Contractor's payments or make such tax payments on Contractor's behalf, or
- make state or federal unemployment contributions on Contractor's behalf.
Contractor will pay all applicable taxes related to the performance of services under this contract. This includes income, Social Security, Medicare, and self-employment taxes. Contractor will also pay any unemployment contributions related to the performance of services under this contract. Contractor will reimburse Client if Client is required to pay such taxes or unemployment contributions.
