Description
Experience Level: Expert
Estimated project duration: More than 6 months
Company Information:
We are a UK based tutoring agency specialising in helping students with their applications to Oxbridge and medical schools. We are looking for a full-time marketing and operations associate to help grow the business and support the marketing team. You are expected to work remotely from your home-office.
This is the perfect role for someone looking for experience in a wide variety of fields including content creation, recruitment, market research, resource management, strategy, quality control etc.
Your Roles:
50% of your time will be devoted to marketing and the other 50% to operations. You will closely with the marketing manager and the operations director - Every day will be different, but some of your responsibilities will include:
Marketing:
• Creating landing pages from scratch on Wordpress and measuring their performance using various tools like hotjar
• Generating and publishing compelling content for press releases, product launches, promotions and newsletters
• Optimise key webpages for Search engines
• Create a means of measuring the impact of our brand and ensuring its on-going health
• Track on-going brand sentiment and maintain and grow positive image (with Head of Market and Customer Insight)
• Designing new templates for proposals and marketing queries
• Investigating, proposing and implementing new technologies and tools
Operations:
• Supporting the Operations Director in devising business operations strategy and processes to serve the growing needs of the marketing, sales and success teams.
• Working with the People Team to recruit & retain world class talent and ensuring UniAdmissions remains a people focussed employer
• Co-developing the strategy & operational processes for delivering world class customer service & technical support across the globe
• Setting up systems in order to increase efficiency in the team
• Managing company dropbox e.g. ensure all files are stored in the correct location
• Managing company intranet
• Increase engagement of our massive network of oxbridge tutors
• Conducting Market research to make recommendations on logistical issues e.g. what is the cheapest way to post 2,000 books every month?
• Design, create and implement customer surveys. Use the results to make recommendations
About you
Naturally, you’ll have a practical, hands-on and flexible approach, and you’ll be a great team player and happy to throw yourself into a fast-paced, non-hierarchical environment. We’re also looking for you to be:
• A proactive problem solver, equally effective solving strategic business demands as detailed operational implementation challenges
• Good communicator and organiser, and able to build and sustain productive working relationships with colleagues across the business
• Able to work independently, prioritise conflicting demands and meet deadlines
• Demonstrate strong leadership skills: the ability to evaluate solutions, services and assess the needs for improvement
• Able to quickly gain new skills and knowledge when faced with new challenges
• Great at building relationships with third parties and contracts to ensure services meet expected levels.
Why UniAdmissions?
• You’ll get full on the job training with a two week paid induction period.
• You can work from home to reduce travel time + costs.
• You will automatically join the UniAdmissions reward scheme for additional perks like discounted cinema tickets, 4% off Tesco + Amazon, free coffee at Café Nero etc.
