The role...
This is a commission only lead generation and sales role. The company has to date relied on inbound sales, but this is a great opportunity to get in at the start of a new outbound sales initiative. We cover all regions, sectors and business types/sizes, so early applicants will have the chance to define the sector & region they cover. As we grow there is potential for the role to expand/become full-time/move in to account management, etc. Dynamic & enthusiastic entreprenuerial types who see the chance to define and build a role for themselves are most welcome. Technofobes or people who can't get to grips (even after some basic training) with the basic mechanics of text messaging or mobile marketing are not required. Experience within the IT or digital media/advertising industries is a bonus. But bottom line is you must be able to cold call and make sales to UK businesses. We provide the data and all the support and backup you need; you do the calls and bring home the sales.

We will provide data of UK businesses but would be more than happy to see initiative in researching and generating your own ideas for potential leads. You will be reporting directly to one of the company founders and a leading expert in mobile messaging & marketing. He will be available at all times to provide full backup, support & training and to discuss ongoing leads and sales. He is also able to offer brief "phone consultations on the use of mobile messaging in your business and marketing" to your leads in order to help in the persuasion process.

The commission...
Our main annual contracts are £750 or £1500 (upfront payment) with some flexibility "if needed to close the deal". There is also the opportunity of selling bulk SMS. We are offering you 20% on all initial sales (we can pay you within days of receiving the funds from the client). Our target is £20k of sales per month from each person in this role. If this target is reached in any month we will pay an additional 5% bonus.

About you...
During your calls you will prioritise and deliver results by cultivating relationships with decision makers. You will have an ability to identify business opportunities and target pricing through a combined understanding of the clients business, their budgets and our available services.

We require competent, hard working, self motivated and 100% reliable professionals with excellent persuasion and selling skills to work on their own initiative in a personable manner. You must have experience in sales, cold calling and closing, plus strong PC, internet, adminstrative, organisational and communication skills. You also need some experience and a reasonable understanding of technology and/or mobile messaging as used in a business environment or marketing scenario. With some initial training you will be able to quickly grasp and understand our services and be able to demonstrate the key selling points and a general level of understanding of how the service works. You will have strong presentation skills particularly on the phone and a good ability to write articulate emails. We want people who are willing to get stuck in.
