We have recently created an HR and business consultancy web site, our HR services are relevant to all businesses with employees or workers, our business consultancy is also relevant to all types of business, and we especially focus on pubs and care home operators (web site link below).
We are now looking to reach out through social media to find additional clients for either our HR services or our business advisory (sometime our clients use both simultaneously) . We are looking to form a long term relationship with a UK based social media company - but initially would like to trial marketing options through various platforms to see what works best.
We believe the target market for our HR clients can be easily defined by contacting accountants and bookkeepers (and then reaching out to their client base) in addition through businesses like Doctor’s surgeries / Dentists and veterinary practices by contacting the Directors of these businesses with our particular message.
Our message is simple …
We know that these types of organisations usually have a small number of employees and cannot justify the expense of employing full time HR business specialists, instead they will use their administrators or practice managers to do HR and payroll and often other specialist business operations that should be outsourced to a professional consultant. Unfortunately as the burden of this type of work often lies with an unsuitably qualified member of staff, undue pressure is placed upon them personally due to their lack of knowledge in these specialist fields.
Furthermore if HR procedures are not strictly followed a tribunal claim can often become the result with their employer then becoming responsible for all the legal costs and associated bad press poor employee relations all too often bring about. Fundamentally they can be operating outside of statutory legal requirements without even realising and employment procedures and processes they have in place quickly become out of date.
At commercial business solutions we offer an effective solution by providing back up and professional HR advice with ongoing support to the payroll department and/or the company’s other senior personnel. We do this effectively at a fraction of the cost of other larger HR operators such as Peninsula who often tie in customers for long contracts at significant cost.
Going forward clients can ask us to either remedy any immediate issues they may have which are HR related for a one off fixed fee.
Alternatively they may like to have ongoing regular access and support to us by monthly subscription which many business users prefer as they know a tribunal claim is far less likely to occur when they have our support and guidance immediately to hand.
We believe this message could be delivered through social media to engage with new clients (particular LinkedIn).
Separately …
We also offer specialist advice to businesses who maybe struggling or who conversely want to grow but are concerned about overtrading or being able to raise enough finance to avoid doing so.
Currently we have found pub operators and independent hotel groups receptive and separately, care home operators have become regular clients, however all businesses at one time or another need help advice or finance.
Again we believe our business messages could be delivered through social media to engage with new clients particularly via Linkedin in both instances, as there are LinkedIn groups and individuals in all these sectors available to contact through social media.
In summary :
Initially our HR services would be focused at accountants and bookkeepers our business advisory would focus on pubs, hotels and the licensed trade as we have a clear and concise messages for them all which we feel will trigger many business related enquiries.
