Experience Level: Expert
We are looking for an Online Marketing Manager to head all our marketing initiatives with a wide-ranging remit. This is an exceptional challenge with a forward thinking and dynamic business. Whilst we are based in Central London, we would consider someone working from home or overseas (+/- >2hrs from London time). This is a senior role but as a small business, the ideal candidate will be 'hands on' and possess the ability to manage third party consultants when and if required.
The role will involve:
Developing a marketing strategy for our range of products and services.
Driving customer acquisition, retention, and brand engagement.
Responsibility for Own-brand communication through our marketing channels ensuring all communication is on-brand across all platforms.
Analysing market trends and our analytics to ensure we are creating relevant, up-to-date products and initiatives for our users.
Creating added-value propositions for all our services.
Preparing all advertising campaigns to generate a consistent flow of leads for the business.
Producing data to report on performance and to influence future campaigns.
Surveying users and activating their suggestions.
Training our existing team to maximise our marketing resources and follow marketing best practice at all times.
Developing and managing our newsletter strategy to encourage users to subscribe regarding our products.
Recruiting, negotiating with and managing consultants such as SEO; PPC; content marketing.
Recruiting and managing assistant and intern teams.
Working with the web development team on User experience.
Directing our website’s SEO strategy.
Creating partnerships with external organisations and bodies.
Developing and engaging a professional network to further the goals of our brand.
Ensuring all internal deadlines are met.
Experience required:
Worked as a Marketing Executive for 5+ years in a digital agency or brand with direct marketing experience.
Understand digital products and are able to explain them in simple terms.
Experienced at using Trello, Slack, Google Docs, Microsoft Suite.
Worked with content marketing specifically using the Taboola and Outbrain channels.
Sourced, managed and guided talented writers, content marketers, SEO consultants; PPC consultants.
Ability to write content and implement SEO plans.
Produced instructional manuals.
Used email marketing software such as Mailchimp and write quality emails which convert.
Understand GDPR to a high level.
Proven ability to work with designers and developers to get the best conversion results for a website.
Demonstrate a passion for our industry.
