A fast growing online service company, subsidiary of a multinational group covering Europe and the Middle East, is seeking to work with a Freelance Sales Representative in Athens, Greece. If successful, the Sales Representative will eventually join the company on a permanent basis and enjoy a fast track career with potential to become its local Sales Manager. The successful candidate will report directly to the Local General Manager and in close communication to the international team.
Desired Skills & Experience
Responsibilities:
• Sell “pay for results” advertising to local independent customers throughout Athens and the rest of Greece
• Conduct cold calls and walk-ins, schedule in person meetings, and sign up customers to the local network
• Exceed high volume sales goals while working with minimal supervision
• Be the local market expert: gather customer feedback, monitor competitor activity, and provide recommendations for improvements to management
• Assist with local user marketing efforts
Job Requirements:
• A friendly, likable approach with excellent communication and presentation skills
• A desire to sign up tons of local customers: you thrive and excel at signing new business
• Graduates and final year university students will also be considered
• Previous sales experience will be considered a plus.
• Internet and Restaurant industry experience will be considered a strong plus
• Familiarity with a variety of sales concepts, practices and procedures.
• Ability to combine insights from past experiences, analytics, and sound judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
• Willingness to work non-traditional hours in case this is deemed necessary.
• Fluent in Greek is a must
