One Media UK Ltd is one of the UK’s most prestigious and successful publishers of quality media. Established in 2005, the company is now beginning a very exciting stage of launch and acquisition. As part of this development we are currently looking for an experienced and driven freelance media sales professional with a proven successful record to assist with the advertising sales on a new publication launching in Surrey
The main purposes of this role are to act as an effective sales ambassador for a prestigious monthly regional lifestyle magazine, launching March 2011. To generate advertising sales revenue, manage a client base, the main duties are:
1. Achieve advertising revenue, volume, yield and credit control targets.
2. Plan and prioritise personal sales activities and customer/prospect contact towards achieving agreed business aims, especially managing personal time and productivity.
3. Plan and manage personal business portfolio/territory/business according to an agreed development strategy.
4. Manage product, service and advertising rates according to agreed targets.
5. Maintain and develop existing and new customers through appropriate propositions and ethical sales methods, to optimise quality of service, business growth, and customer and satisfaction.
6. Respond to and follow up sales enquiries using appropriate methods.
7. Communicate, liaise, and negotiate internally and externally using appropriate methods to facilitate the development of profitable business and sustainable relationships.
8. Report on a daily basis to the Managing Director on sales and revenue progress.
Renumeration for this role is £50 per day plus 20% of all revenue generated.
