I am looking for professional new business salespeople to sell open source IT solutions to medium to large UK enterprises on a commission-only basis.
You will be required to develop new business by selling :
1) market leading open source products for
a) Business Intelligence and Reporting (competing with Business Objects, Cognos and SAP) and
b) Thin Client technology (competitive to Citrix and Microsoft Terminal Server as well as
2) open source integration and application development services to match any customer business requirement
This is a business solution and relationship sell based on establishing a trusted advisor relationship with your customers.
You will have direct access to technical backup for proposals, customer meetings and demonstrations. Your role will be to open initial contact with budget holders, set up and attend face to face customer meetings to work through requirements gathering and demonstrations if necessary and commercial negotiations through to deal close.
You will need to attend interviews as well as company and product sales training in London Marylebone before starting.
You will be paid on receipt of payment from the customer. A typical sales cycle is 3 months plus 30 days to receive payment after invoicing. All telephone, travelling costs and other expenses are for your own account.
