Preliminary step: Define The Brand Plan
• The brand plan should include information on what is the brand message, what are our unique selling positions, what type of brand awareness we need to do. This is a bit of mixture of brand/marketing and also our business plan. We need to be clear of our corporate image. Business Plan has been developed for you to work with.
First step: Define the Target Market
• Firstly conduct market research into the beauty industry and define the target market for our customers. Define: Who are our customers, their demographics, aspirations, economic status, motivations, etc.
Second step: developing and implementing a strategic marketing plan (involving development of advertising, brand awareness and public relations campaign)
•conduct further market research to find out how does our target market actually interact socially, how they communicate (using what methods - sms, newspapers, etc.) and also what existing media they subscribe to (e.g. they listen to Nova FM or they read Cleo etc.)
• following this, propose effective marketing strategies to introduce awareness of our brand and how to do this using already existing tools that are available and often used by our target market
Third step:
• in conjunction with target marketing and utilising existing media/communications and marketing tools, you will also then need to come up with ways to attract new customers. This is more lead generation and can be technical, this is essentially about building a customer base which we can then bargain with when doing strategic partnership work i.e., create leveraging opportunities whereby we can then conduct direct marketing to our client base
We would like this work completed in week ideally if feasible. If you feel that cannot meet the final deadline (which we will all agree on) then please do not bid for this project. We can not afford to loose time with Freelancers who can not time manage effectively as this work is time sensitive.
