Estimated project duration: 1 - 2 weeks
We are redesigning our website and, as part of the redesign, are also looking at the content, calls to action and so on.
We are looking for someone to critique our site as a potential B2B client and tell us how it makes you "feel". We are not looking for you to review every single word - more just to review the messages, titles, headings, calls to action, content concept and so on.
This would ideally be suited to someone with a marketing background who also has experience of purchasing and product selection in a B2B environment.
For example (these are not exhaustive):
Are there the right calls to action?
Do you feel confident in the company and products/services based on the site?
Do you get the right level of information on the company and its offerings?
Do you see the benefits of using such software?
What questions spring to mind which are not answered by the site?
Additionally, we will give you a list of up to 5 competitors websites from which we would like you to tell us what they do which we don't or things they do better than us - we are not looking for a critique on their sites but, putting yourself in the shoes of a buyer, you would check out alternates so it makes sense to see how we stack up against them in your eyes.
We would like you to also make suggestions on what we should change and what we should change it to hence why marketing experience is so important.
We are not looking for design critique nor SEO etc though if the design is really offensive or has the opposite effect to that which is desire then you can of course say.
