Online Media Sales Executive - Leading Information Provider
Rochdale, Lancashire
We're a leading information provider and currently launching a new service unique to the market place and have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic B2B Media Sales Executive. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing leads and cold calling business prospects in order to sell a range of online marketing solutions across our brand. You will develop client relationships, sell and manage online campaigns, report back to the clients and manage the account for future campaigns. we will be doing a UK nationwide road show with a unique marketing tool not used in our industry before, research shows that members of the public will look at our marketing tool for an average of 10 minutes, which is an acheivement in itself and make the sale process easier to prospects.
The role is home based.
The main responsibilities and duties of the role:
To thrive in this role, you will be highly influential and possess strong sales skills, utilizing the full sales cycle to achieve results. With an interest in Advertising, Business and New Media you will be confident in communicating new ideas to all levels of business leaders:
Research new leads/prospects.
Cold calling new prospects.
Managing end to end campaigns from cold call through to repeat sale.
Keeping all associated admin up to date including orders, copy, CRM, response reports, scheduling.
Hitting agreed weekly sales targets.
Maintain client relations by regular communications (telephone & email).
Monitoring competitor activity.
Online Media Sales Executive Skills/ qualifications required:
An energetic self-starter with an interest in, or experience of, advertising
Proven expertise in a media sales environment preferred
Strong communicator with good verbal skills
Outstanding organisational skills and managing your own diary
Comfortable with meeting tight deadlines and prioritising workload
Strong interpersonal skills as external relationships are key to the role
Ability to use own initiative and judgment to make day-to-day decisions
Awareness of market conditions and competitor activities
You may have worked in the following capacities:
